On May 20, 2018, Dr. Peter Pun, Principal Research Fellow, HKPRI, was invited to speak in ‘“This is Our Land”: Dialogue Series – Caution: PPP’ co-organized by Citizens Task Force on Land Resources (CTF) and Liber Research Community. He introduced the views and recommendations in our recent research report “Public Private Partnership for Land Provision”. The other speaker was Professor Roger Nissim, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction in HKU and a member of CTF, who advocated using the Lands Resumption Ordinance to take back the idle farmlands owned by property developers.
