In this era of globalization and internet, the rapid development of information technology, creative technology, social network and civil society have raised community expectations towards education. This enhances the challenges to school management capabilities, and schools need to respond with higher effectiveness and efficiency. It is essential for school educators to respond to the many social changes and community expectations, so that schools can survive and develop to adapt to the changing environment.


The Centre for Education Policy is set up with the support of a group of experienced educators and former education officials. It aims at contributing to the continuous professional development in local schools, mainly in three areas:

1) education policy research;

2) education consultancy services; and

3) training programs, particularly in the area of school leadership and management.


School Support Service

Since 1996, Hong Kong Policy Research Institute has all along endeavoured to study Education Policies and provide school support. It aims to develop a good learning environment with learning diversity through the collaboration of different institutes and professionals.

 Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity in the 21st Century have brought huge impacted on our lives and expectations. Moreover, the challenges to school management capabilities required efficient and effective responses from schools. The Centre for Education Policy is set up with the support of a group of experienced educators and former education officials, providing continuous support from various professionals and perspectives.
