特區政府將於本周三(28日)公佈2018/19年度財政預算案，會計師公會估計，本年度財政盈餘高達1,760億元。政府能否利用財政盈餘，改善置業問題？香港願景計劃今日舉行研究發佈會，就支援首置家庭置業的政策和措施進行研究，並提出具體建議。

香港需要一套嚴謹、多元及具持續性的人口政策。但可惜政府在制訂相關政策時，忽略了周詳的研究與考量，加上有關部門過於保守的政策取態，使各類人口政策都收不到預期的效果。

食水是市民生活不可或缺的一環；可靠的食水供應對香港的城市發展十分重要。香港缺乏大型河流、天然湖泊以至地下水源等天然水資源，食水的供應主要來自輸入東江水以及本地水塘收集雨水，當中東江水及雨水分別約佔全港食水供應的75%及25%。
